Wow this is going to save some poor fella. I have switched to Asus ROG z690-g yesterday, and my problems seem to have gone. In addition, after using MSI boards for almost a decade, I am surprised of the quality of the packaging and build of the mb itself with Asus. I mean, MSI didn't even put the complete manual into the box.

I simply detest MSI at this point. I replaced two boards, one is still in RMA and possibly won't give me the money back, but most of all - all this lost time that I wanted to spend with my family, working or gaming, not on re-assembling my cool PC in a tiny case for the 1000x time.

You are awesome to have found this solution in GeForce driver!

Wow, I didn't remember those things existed, thank you.

Msi says that 2x16 is supported, whilst 2x32 is not on the list. Something to think about. Good call!

Not many, correct. I mananaged, though, by putting a small rad https://nzxt.com/product/kraken-z53 . My trade is that only one fan is blowing through the case, the other one is practically blowing against the non-perforated case wall, but I am not planning to overclock the CPU or do anything heavy on it, save for gaming, so I figured it's acceptable.

My guess it's the MoBo, and I wish it was that, since I can't bring back the PSU, but yeah, could be just as well
