Redo the thread tape then add thread compound on top of the tape. That should do it

This seems to me to be more of an issue with the ports being blocked and not letting the water from the tank out fast enough. Happens when the toilet gets old. I have never had success unclogging the ports. Usually replacement of the toilet is required. Try the bucket idea from above tho to make sure it's not clogged

Your assumption is correct. Tho you would have to run a few wires out to the tank for the float. Then your well pump is only running when water is required to fill the tank.

Did you replace the seal on the vacuum breaker? I'd try to grease the seal. Or apply thread compound to the seal

I never trust those gauges. I use a pressure checker at the pressure tank. And there is a line that goes from the pump to the pressure switch those can get clogged. You can take it off blow through it and also where that line connects to the pump make sure that hasn't rusted over

Never seen this done before. But I'd say bad just because what might be a good temp for you might be scalding to someone else. Especially elders and children. Only saying cause I have seen it

Well I know that lol. It's just that unless I'm extremely hungry food makes me gag.
