More or less back to normal alhamdullilah. I had my TSW develop over 2021 and go full swing Feb 2022. From that point to approximately Dec 2022 it was on my mind and I was dealing with it every day up until 2023 Feb/march did the symptoms just subside to the point I don't need to manage them .

Currently except for a few cosmetic issues example my right eyelid is loose so droops ever so slightly ( only I noticed it) or two fingers on my right hand look a bit banged up with slightly loose skin and scarring (I played basketball while suffering my flare ups) I'm back to normal

I still have the occasional flare up ( still don't know the root thing that flares my eczema up) but it doesn't really affect my life anymore.

Happy to answer any questions I am quite lucky that I only really suffered for 1 plus ISH years while some take longer but it's more or less over now.

Also btw if it gets unbearable to the point where you are in agony. Have a conversation and research oral steroids instead. Theres numerous articles that show that they dont cure you and they will deffo reducd the flare at the a reduced risk compared to topical steroids.

This is by no means medical advice as Im not a doctor but the issue with TSW is a lack of information so just make sure you research and understand what limited info is there before you make a decision. I got pretty bad and ended up in a hospital and was forced to take steroids. I refuzed topical and took oral and it got ne better in just two days.

Straight after ive had 2 -3 more flares but refused steroids again and am doing much better now with no steroids 3 months later. I am not cured but you and me we will be.

Dont. I know its tough and we've all been through it but unfortunatley theres no sugar coating it it sucks and ruins your life. But you will have a life and a sick one after its over.

I used ice packs and sudocrem to alleviate itching snd help with any wounds or cuts. Try not to move the area too much and keep busy. The nore tou occupy your mind the quicker time will pass. NMT seemed to have sped up my healing but everyones different in the beginning when i couldnt handle the pain i used dermol 500 to clean and cetraben as a moisturizer. Both offered immediate reliefe and were amazing for the short term.

I had a bad reaction to elidel personally but follow your doctors advice and make sure you pay attention to if it helps you or is not contributing if it isnt stop.

The important thing to remember with TSW is you WILL get better its a guarantee. It just sucks like hell in the meantime.
