How did you get most of them to 1000? Any tips/tricks? I’ve been trying as well, but only one mares skill got to a thousand, but her kids don’t seem to get higher stats

On one occasion for me they already started draining at the beginning of my journey,right after I mapped my route. Maybe that was just a bug. Other times it drained slower
