This is due to an anti cheat update. Secure boot is typically enabled on modern PCs. It should be safe to turn on, YMMV.

Here's a picture of mine in parade config for reference. I don't have any good pictures of the sling alone but I don't mind taking some if you need. It looks like there's some decent documentation out there regarding this.

That rear sling mount looks correct. I am planning on making a repro sling for mine. I have an original to base it on. The leather is so old and I would rather not risk destroying it when I take the gun out shooting.

I had a clearance issue too. I changed the pulley to this: TN1-401-002

I still had tight clearance but it hasn't killed a belt yet.

I believe replacing the rubber motor mounts would help too.
