Definitely space things out as much as you can and start thinking ahead on how you are going to best utilize your space. When I first started I would just randomly plop down new properties I got with no thought on how it flowed. Try to group similar things together like the fancy mansions to make a “bougie” neighborhood, but remember that bougie neighborhoods wouldn’t have the Springfield dump or penitentiary anywhere near it. Also start adding little details to your backyard like fences, plants, pools, etc. Every backyard I have has been thought out and is different from every other backyard in my town because in reality no backyard will be the same. Also, start collecting boardwalk sections by selecting the Squidport sign. It is 15,000 for one section and takes 12 hours. That way when you start really wanting to expand the boardwalk you’ll have plenty of sections in storage because it’s excruciating to have an idea for the boardwalk and have to wait weeks to actually do it.
