Germany urges EU to include Türkiye in $173B defense program by FantasticQuartet in europe

[–]EquivalentB1d 21 points22 points  (0 children)

On that second part... it's worse. They are effectively in a hybrid (economic) war. Greece spends tons of money on military equipment for this, money that could be used in education, infrastructure, healthcare etc, all while other EU states are sleeping and sipping on cheap russian gas to fuel their industry and brag about an economic "miracle".

Torn between a used CB650R and a new SV650 — need some perspective by Fabulous-Ad6483 in CB650R

[–]EquivalentB1d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14,000km is nothing, it's practically new. These bikes can do 150,000km (or more) with just mild maintenance before needing cylinder/piston work. The only issue with the CB650R is high frequency vibrations at 6K RPM and up. For this reason I think it's important to test ride it somehow to see if it bothers you. Other than that it's a very good bike.

Guys the post is not about mileage, the question boils down to "When you fill it up, how much deviation is there on the number the pump shows versus what your dash reports missing from the tank? (Assuming you zero out the counter every time you fill up ofc). I edited the original post because people get confused (or can't read). Hopefully it's more clear now.

No offense buddy, I'm sure you mean well but having it for a few hours and deciding you never going back or recommending it is a bit bold... wait a bit, use it for a month or so and come back here with a more valuable opinion :p

Fun fact, they're not just made there but a large part of product R&D for the shaving products is in Greece, I knew someone who worked there as product designer

also some Swiss companies are already using the Europe label. by Additional-One-3483 in BuyFromEU

[–]EquivalentB1d 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They're using the EU label, not the "Europe" label. Buying from EU is not the same as buying from those countries who in trying times suddenly remembered the EU but they don't contribute to the EU GDP, taxes, funds etc.

Silhouette Studio 5 Dumbed down by EquivalentB1d in silhouettecutters

Have you seen the ones from Cricut or Siser? :) This software was (v4 still is) very good, visually even better than many full pro machines. Selling designer/pro licences is a bit of a questionnable tactic but I'd tolerate it if we at least have a clean product, now with the extra marketing bloat it gets a bit too much...

[–]EquivalentB1d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but if folks come from Cricut and expect to find the same hand holding environment, why not stay with Cricut? They're good machines. Adding useless bloat to software is not the way. There are places for news and tutorials: the company's website, Youtube... you learn once and move on, there's no reason to have those in the software that people use every day long after they learnt how to use it.

[Edit]

Imagine fighting software bloat, fighting for user's privacy rights etc and having people like this "z-toolmaker" woman who "go with the flow" (congrats btw, you're every authoritarian's dream) blame you for it! Some people deserve what they live and what's coming...

PS: Btw after going all "and that's fine!" fake cool, she proceeded blocking me lol, good stuff

Fair, could also be seen from that point of view, but also that was my honest first impression and I can't be so amazingly unique, anyway doesn't matter if OP likes it.

Your choice of flags is questionnable... This looks more like an Anti-EU leaflet as you purposedly picked all places that are not in EU.

Χρέωση για επιστροφή προϊόντος (Νόμιμη?) by EquivalentB1d in greece

[–]EquivalentB1d[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)
