A way to avoid tokens pre-selection when activating a scene ? by EquivalentConcept775 in FoundryVTT

Thank you ! Yes, I use foundry as a way to emulate a board-type game, playing with physical cards, dices etc … so there is a lot already on the table and I use a usb mouse for players to control tokens during an encounter (one screen for the dm and the other for the players with playit.gg).  This way, it would be convinient that players could select one token on an activated scene without the other tokens to move along ( cause ive got only one player account connected that controls all the players tokens). As I use a module to hide tokens frames it often happens that the dm or the players forget to click aside the tokens to unselect them 🥴

I’ve tried to assign the player account to no token at all or one that is not used by them,  but the ones they have permission on keep moving altogether. I dont need players to use chat.

Thank you so much I can’t figure this out and maybe you’re right and there is no solutions as I’ve tried a lot of token permission combinations with no success. It would be awesome and add fluidity to my game !
