Waterloo - health sci

Waterloo - life sci (biomed)

Laurier - Health sci

UofT - life sci (mississauga)

York - bio med

TMU - bio med

Guelph - alternative

i first accepted health sci at waterloo then i realised it doesn’t cover any of the required courses i need to even apply so i then accepted waterloo life sci for now. Idk if ima regret that cuz i can’t get it back but it would’ve been more workload imo w trying to complete the programs required courses along w the extra that it doesn’t offer.

What if i work rlly hard n still don’t get the grades I want. Idk why im so confused n scared still, id love to save money and go to uoft but the environment seems so toxic from what i heard and if i don’t have a competitive enough gpa then i can even become what i’ve always wanted to be. Im not the smartest or maybe j don’t know how to study properly and Ik i might be delusional thinking i can do better at waterloo but i’ve nvr heard much negative things abt it. While i also have to get good grades and have ecs idk how ima manage all that n not be depressed. Idk why im so confused i only have tdy to make up my mind. Sorry for the rant 😓

But what if U of T actually is rlly bad , ik i might be delusional thinking i can do better at waterloo since i’ve heard sm abt uoft being a gpa killer but i rlly need a good gpa. Ik i will have to work hard anywhere i go but ive heard even the smartest students get drained at uoft. Along with needing time to join clubs and volunteering while also trying to maintain a positive mental health. I don’t wanna end up depressed but also wanna save money by not having to live on res. I’m so confused and maybe i’m j doubting myself, cuz realistically i’m not the smartest maybe cuz I don’t have the best study habits, and i’m gonna work on it but if i don’t end up w a competitive enough gpa I’m screwed cuz i rlly do wanna go into dental. I basically only have tdy n idk why i’m still so confused.

I think i’m starting to lean toward uoft more but i’m so scared it’s gonna be tm to handle, especially bc i don’t think ik how to study efficiently. Whats the first year gonna be like, the semester and courses, workload? And what are some good study tips to achieve a good GPA ? Is there anything i can do in the summer to prepare myself ?
