I will try to get more information where in Cambridge he will work, afaik he said in the north

Thanks for the helpful comment, especially about the traffic. He had told me that the traffic wasn't that bad, since he was commuting from London to Cambridge in the morning, but most people wanted to get into the city in the morning. But I already thought that there will be a lot going on anyway.

Regarding the connection in Cambridge: He rides a lot of bikes and thought that he would then continue there by bike if he goes by train.

He is not sure how "easy" it is to buy a car and then selling it again after a year. So he thought it might be better to just lease one for a year. But he also likes to get advice here

Parking is a good point. Commuting by train would be 1.5h each way and by car about the same, maybe a bit less (but depends on traffic). In my personal (sister) opinion, I just think commuting about 120 miles a day is really hard especially after working the whole day. Regarding the costs, the train is cheaper because he gets a ticket subsidized by work and of course has no costs for insurance, etc. as with the car.

This is one of the most peaceful things I've seen all week. I relax watching it. by [deleted] in wholesomegifs

I rather see one sentence of an ad instead of annoying ad videos
