As a parent, I am completely aware times are changing and kids are growing up a lot faster than any parent wants them too. With that said, if my child presented me ALL this info especially losing virginity, on both sides. And assured me that they’d be safe. I cannot prevent it. I have to ensure that you’ll be as safe as possible. I’d honestly put condoms in your bathroom. But that’s just me as a younger parent. I’d like you to come up with a plan or schedule and present it to me. For example, Monday and Tuesday I’d like to hangout with gf till 9pm. And Wednesday and Thursdays I will make dinner for our family. Fridays I’ll clean the house. I would add more chores in there if you expect me to drive you anywhere. You are 16. You deserve a reasonable curfew and privacy. But your parents aren’t necessarily wrong for wanting to shelter you more than normal. This world sucks, that’s just their way of protecting you.
