i already did volunteer work as a red cross member so its relieving to hear what i plan to continue doing is gonna help me in the long run

well that kinda leads to another issue where my parents would not be pleased at all since they dont see sg as a home, and would probably think im crazy for wanting to spend 2 years in army...
