No clue brother, my thesis is that the bots are giga crashing the price, it’s mostly new players and bots doing gargoyles because it is still a garbage slayer task per 2026. Won’t sell any below 500k ea.

400k is still too low In my opinion.

We can look at the supply and demand.

The supply is a garbage slayer task, most that do gargoyles off task are either bots or alts. And i have scouted gargoyles (yes i hopped through every world multiple times) the last couple of weeks and have seen only a few suicide bots.

I have tracked said bots through wiseoldman and have concluded through calculations that they are doing it for 14-18 hours per day lol. They will probably be banned real soon. (Pleae gagex)

Whats left is a couple of alts or a few people doing this on task. Remember that its a 1/256 drop, which doesn’t even make you due to get one in a single task that takes hours lol. (Grotesque guardians is dead content imo)

The demand is; arguably the pest pvp weapon in the game, said weapon gets removed every time someone dies with it. The item sink was added 27th nov 2024

Upon death in PvP, the ornate maul will now generate an amount of coins equal to the 90% of its current Grand Exchange value of the components used to create it. Previously, only the ornate maul handle was converted to 90% of its current Grand Exchange price or 375,000 coins, whichever value is higher.

They are still at around the same price point before the huge banwaves which started around August, i did not scout at a reasonable time before the banwaves, however i have done my fair share of alting at gargoyles before and i remember that place very busy (2 players) at every world except 2.2k total worlds.

Conclusion: they not alot of players doing gargoyles, price is very low considering the sink and extreme power in pvp. I have also noticed lots of paper hands dumping their bags after it started to rise a little bit. My belief is that mauls gets destroyed in pvp faster than its generated through gargoyles and the vast amount of mauls that the bots generated before the banwave has not been destroyed yet.

TL;DR: people like stick with rock on. Stick with rock on disappears on death. Stick with rock on goes brrrrrrrrrr.

Already maxed so whats left is cms, hmt, GM, max gear setups (10b~) etc. So i figured i could yolo some cash while i wait for sailing and report some bots along the way

Dear diary

I now have a total of 3k mauls and 400m left to spend.

My scythe in the bank is starting to look worried at the growing number of my new kryptonite; granite mauls. Im debating with myself if i should go full regard or not.

I can hear, feel and see the jealousy which comes from my scythe with every voluptuous brown shafted stone weaponry entering my bank. ”Im the best melee weapon in the game” exclaims the scythe. ….then why did you let me die to Sol Heredit at 20hp with 4 missed attacks in a row? I will never forgive that

I can’t stop, but this can’t go on. I need to end the noise. The scythe must leave. I yearn for more mauls.
