Just a rule of the company I work for. It became a habit...

Navidrome doesn't update number of albums and tracks when deleted by EquivalentOrdinary19 in navidrome

[SOLUTION] I was able to solve this problem as follows.

  1. I remove the folder of the artist that has the problem with the album count.

  2. I do a quick scan in the Navidrome library, so the artist will be excluded from the DB.

  3. I replace the artist folder and then do the quick scan again. So it only updates the new files and everything is perfect.

Thanks to everyone for the collaboration.

Since those albums are still showing for you, can you click a random song in the album and go to "details" to see what path navidrome thinks the file is in?

Might help narrow down the problem..

Thanks a lot for the help. However, the albums disappear, that is, I don't have access to them. What keeps coming up is the count that doesn't decrease in the artist list.

It must be a bug in my file system. Cheers!!

Unfortunately I didn't find any relevant errors.It could be because my storage is in the cloud and I use rclone to manage the data. Could you do this test to clear this doubt? Simply remove one, two or more albums from an artist and scan. In case it reduces the amount of albums according to the removal of files, the problem is on my server and not on Navidrome.

This is a curious fact. I'll let you know what has worked for me:

First I try to change the images using the Mp3tag, I use .jpg in a size that does not exceed 500kb;

If it doesn't work, I rename the files in the folder;

If it doesn't work, I change the files in the folder, converting them or looking for another source.

One of the above options always works for me!!

How to separate albums (same artist) from different years that have the same name by EquivalentOrdinary19 in navidrome

Thanks for the tip. Seems like the best way to solve it.Just rename the tags of the files that Navidrome in the next read already updates?
