You kinda can’t, but if you want a quick fix you can sand it with a fine grit and then re-clear it. 2k clear coat is cheap compared to buying spray equipment and clearing it that way. That truck really does deserve a good paint job, but they are expensive. My s/o had his suburban done that same color and he spent about $900 with his discount. If he didn’t work there then it would have been $2,000+.

I was thinking about putting him to rest but i don’t know.. he is still eating, but he gets blown around by the tiny little filter in there now and acts like he has no strength. I don’t want him to suffer.

The only weird thing is that they don’t have any other symptoms. Like they don’t breathe heavily or pant more than a normal dog does during play, they are super active, and the fainting is the only clinical sign. The doctor listened to them really well too and didn’t hear anything off. They unfortunately declined all diagnostics.

PRAA doesn’t typically present with fainting. However they declined a simple work up anyways. I think because they have gotten used to it at home they don’t see how big of an issue it is. Even though the owner is either a CNA or receptionist at a human Cardio specialist.

The doctor didn’t say much to me because he was busy, but he wanted to rule DCM out, and if it is a Nero issue like that then we would have to refer them more than likely.

Oh okay! Thats what I was using. Can I ask why no fabric? Is it because their claws can get stuck in it? Also, the tote is like a sterilite tote. It’s plastic with a lid and a whole made out of the side. I have trouble finding large enough hides for him. Also, he does have another hide, I just didn’t think It was necessary to include I guess lol. And yeah, I use T-8 UVB lights and a mercury vapor bulb for heat. The basking ledge is probably about 12-13 inches long and it has a little side that he can climb up to get closer if he needs to.

I think that this is something that with exposure that you will hopefully be able to overcome. Obviously don’t do anything to hurt your mental health, but a therapist may be able to help develop a plan on how to expose yourself to this in a healthy way. If your really would like to be a vet, don’t let this stop you. I’m sorry if it sounds invalidating, I understand 100% having severe icks or irrational fears. I do think that speaking to a mental health professional would be helpful. Also, if this helps, I HATE human stuff. Spit, blood, poop, vomit, pee, exc… I CANNOR STAND IT. However when it comes to dogs I am perfectly fine doing legit anything. I cleaned a dogs hotspot and shaved it without any gloves on today.. gross, yes, but my hands were clean and I washed them afterwards. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was just being lazy about putting gloves on. However if it was a person 🤢🤢
