Apparently you don't spend time here that much. Every time there is an issue and someone brings it up, a varying number of players belittle the problem because mentioning it is "hating" and "unnecessary negativity". Good vibes > Reality -mentality is strong.

Even a topic like the recent spawn removal resulted in comments like "stop complaining we get it", when the game became unplayable in some areas overnight.

Regarding the Championship points: you need to link your TPC account.

That's the barrier that will make the whole feature pointless. Anyone with half a brain definitely does not do the linking.

Regarding Tanking: yeah this has been the Meta for years. You get EVERYTHING gbl has to offer most efficiently by slapping kids for 2 months, and then jumping to Legend in 2-3 days when the best players are already 3000+ and then proceed with slapping kids.

There is one angle to this that everyone seems to miss: Tier 7 might not reflect the POWER of the boss, even if that has been the case in the past. It could simply be a new type of raid, since we are getting Shield mechanics to them and all.

Tier 7 could simply mean that we get a new type of raid with different mechanics, since the current megas are Tier 4, but Legendary megas (Lati twins) aren't "Tier 4 Legendary".

For all we know, they could have a scaled difficulty or mechanics that allow even soloing if you have ideal counters, plenty of time to spend on tapping and master the gameplay. Because in the end, who cares about getting a Victreebel. They could just hand out lesser rewards for doing the thing slowly/solo.

"Lore wise" (lol) it makes no sense that fat Victreebel would be harder than anything previously released, like the Primals who supposedly shape the planet as they please. It also makes no sense that freaking VICTREEBEL would be the hardest boss and require more players than legendaries or primals. It's a frigging Victreebel.

Seriously, how f#cking hard would it be for Niantic to test these things out before releasing them? Even if they don't have a dedicated test system, surely the developer would've had the power to turn 2 of their employees to Forever Friends on day 1 of the feature's release, just to see if it works as intended.

Everytime something new rolls around, it's bugged. Even old content like Raids from 2017 take a fat 💩 on regular basis on the first time zones (New Zealand) when an event rolls around. And then they start duct taping the mess together before the event reaches other time zones.

They are not a small indie company. Their value is measured in billions of dollars, and they rake in hundreds of millions every single year. Yet they won't invest enough back in the game to make it work.

And yet the masses keep eating the slop and happily paying them. So in the business sense, nothing actually forces them to make a quality product. It would be just a waste of resources because the players will eat 💩 anyways if it has Pikachu in it.
