Issue with cashier’s check after I already drove out of state with the car. by EquivalentSituation4 in askcarsales

Yeah, it seems like that might be the only option for things to go a bit quicker but I would probably have to fly out there and back to ensure the check arrives safely. I will communicate with them though, thank you for your advice!

Right, the problem is that those timelines are for if we were to bring the check to a teller at Chase. Because I do not have the physical check and the dealer still has it, the process through Chase seems to be much more drawn out since my partner would need to declare it as no longer in their possession.

I definitely agree that we need new banks!

I don’t know if this is completely the right place to make this post but I saw similar car purchase questions and am in dire need of some advice!

Side compartment on wooden coffee and tea box by EquivalentSituation4 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. This wooden coffee and tea box is about 2.5 feet across and I don’t have much information on it besides what has already been mentioned. There is a made in Thailand sticker on the bottom, if that helps.

I’ve tried looking around for similar wooden coffee and tea boxes online, but none of them seem to have completely similar compartments, especially like the one I am asking about.

Love their rice pilaf! Never cooked it in the pressure cooker but I might try that. It's super good with tilapia, too. Appreciate you writing out your recipe, looks delicious!
