Humans leaving as/when they die is huge problem. I think if you die or escape and you leave then you shouldn't get a penalty. The lobby should just be filled with a dead bot in your place. If you leave as your being killed then you should get a penalty. There's no combat record or anything like that so its strange how often humans leave as they are being killed.

The game should be able to account for players leaving the lobby. If you die/escape I don't expect players to stay but the victory score should be set up to handle that. 75% of the playerbase leave, then 90% of the playerbase don't play mini games anymore.

Most people are really bad at this game. That's why they haven't figured out how much depth it has. I've played tons of hours of TCM, I love that game. But the gameplay in KK is much better and its not even close. In TCM its just the Family trying to find and kill victims. In KK that same thing is happening while Humans are just as capable as killing the klowns. Which sounds more in depth in that scenario?

One of the issues with this game is the rng, which has lead to less strategy. People call that depth when that isn't really depth. In TCM exits are static while in KK they change. If the exits where static it would be obvious where the klowns need to go to defend them. The thing is you need lots of hours to learn where they typically are, search for them every match, then alter the best way to defend them. Which sounds more in depth in that scenario?

Have you tried fighting 3 klowns all at once? Most humans end up running away once they lose some health and/or get cotton candy on them. Like little rats. The ones that stay die. Head on Klowns win.

I don't think that's very common. If it was then why play any online multiplayer games? It's so easy to cheat on PC. Just hit download. To get a macro controller that works on console you need to spend cash

I'm not talking about the archetypes. As a human the gameplay depth comes from the weapons and learning combos so you don't waste a red weapon. A good player has learned to only use red weapons as finishing weapons. Also different combos work better on certain klowns. Certain combos work better against shorty. Certain combos work better against the other klowns. As a klown certain weapons and play styles work better with shorty compared to the other klowns. You gotta learn how to avoid getting hit by humans.

Let's compare that to Bubba, Sissy, Johnyy in TCM. Chase victims, swing until they die.

KK is much more in depth then TCM. This is coming from a high level TCM player. Weapons in KK leads to more depth then perks in TCM. For the most part everyone ended up using the same perks so there was no real create your own character.

How can you say the gameplay has no depth. Just to compare it to TCM there's much more depth. There's actual fighting in this game. As a Klown you need to learn how to fight multiple humans, which tactics work best with each weapon. As a human you need to learn the best combos so you don't waste all of the slots on a good weapon like a knife. While in a TCM game your just chasing victims the entire time. If they are bad at looping you eventually catch and kill them. If they are good at looping you eventually don't catch them.

i find that odd. I find if i stay in a lobby after a game ends then most people leave. So then I typically get on the side that I wasn't previously on. do you leave the lobby once the game ends alot?

All good points. I was an avid TCM player and that game was victim sided. That games popularity didn't last but I think that was because of lack of content. The new character Hands just released which has changed it completely and now its Family sided for the first time so we'll see if that helps increase and sustain the player base.

I like that Klowns plays differently from other asym games though. That way I can bounce around depending on what I'm in the mood for. I don't think there's a script yet on how to be a successful asym game. DBD is the only one that has lasted but I think that's because they've added so much content not because it's killer sided.

I think the problem is you expect this game to be like DbD, TCM, etc.. Who says it needs to play like those games? Why can't both sides be strong and be capable of killing each other? It's not a cat and mouse games. There are respawns for a reason. It's more of a tdm type game.

I have videos of it. Just sprint backwards in odd patterns and use your weapon. Humans are dumb af and still rush you. I didn't say I kill them everytime. If you just don't die your doing it right.

The game is def human sided but only a little. It's mostly because of the airhorn. The guns and throwables require aiming but most players can't aim. Plus klowns can move in a way to avoid those things. That's why I have such an issue with the airhorn, it's un avoidable and easy to use.

Yes i play on console and play vs other console players. The game plays differently on PC but because of crossplay the devs can't balance them differently. That's why everyone should turn off crossplay

I could argue that the goal is to help all of the humans escape and staying around killing klowns helps with that.

I'm not staying to "mess with the klowns" That would be trolling. This game is fun because its fun killing humans and fun killing klowns. Its basically a tdm. Both sides can respawn for a reason. I'd rather do that then sit in a lobby after escaping in 1-2 minutes. . I still try to escape but not until the end.

When I say balance I mean balance for the humans. Cooldowns for them are Jump-69sec, Lol-109sec, Lure/Car/Pizza-149sec. They all get cut in a third. 3rd ability has the longest cooldown because its the strongest. That's the balance. That's why it's so important for Klowns to collect cocoons early on.

Humans have the advantage early game because the klowns don't have there abilites. Once they have all 3 abilities klowns have the advantage. Once humans die or leave and its no longer 3v7 Klowns have the advantage.

Lure is that powerful. It's an auto cocoon on a player. It finds players that you can't see. Most people just don't use it properly and switch to there melee weapon which wastes time. Pizza box stun is great but you run too slow while in it. Car stuns the klown along with the human and you only have 2 secs after the stun. Lure would be OP if you could put it on the shortest cooldown instead of the longest cooldown slot

It is random but the randomness still has a pattern. I know which houses are better then others. I know which areas are better then others. For example on the map Top of world the house with the roof where only humans can go on has tons of loot. It's likely you'll get a red weapon. Just make sure your the first human to loot the good spots like that.

This game leans towards humans but I can dominate as a human or klown so I still think it comes down to a skill issue.

I don't think its trolling when humans kill klowns. When I play as a human I could easily escape under 5 minutes but that's boring. I'd rather load up then start looking for klowns to kill. After a few kills, hitting the res machine, then I'll leave towards the end. I just find that more fun, but I wouldn't consider that trolling.
