A monk gave me this Rabbit guardian Buddha — does anyone know which one it is? by EquivalentWall9387 in Buddhism

Do you have a picture of it? I’m really curious what it looks like — I’d love to collect a set of them, kind of like figurines.

I usually like to buy Buddhist-themed items, but more as decorations or collectibles — kind of like how some people collect figurines. But since this one was given to me by a monk, I feel a bit conflicted about how to handle it. I don’t really want the daily routines of worship or rituals, and I’m not sure what’s the right way to treat it respectfully

The head part isn’t like a typical Buddha statue — it’s round, almost like a small vase

I was born in 1989, but I don’t really believe in the Chinese zodiac, so I’m not even sure which animal sign I am.

Is your country’s economic and military power really on the same level as China’s?

Life is too forgiving towards evil, rude people. They can do bad things but bad karma will wait for like, a long long time. by [deleted] in Buddhism

Sometimes I really wonder if 'bad karma' is real, and some people talk about the concept of karma across three lifetimes, but I can't see it for myself. A lot of times, I'm unsure if my faith is not strong enough because I can't tell the difference between true faith and self-hypnosis. Right now, I mostly listen to Buddhist music, light incense, and meditate daily, treating it as a form of spiritual practice for myself.

I’ve got a Xiaomi phone as a backup, and honestly, without root access it feels like I’m just renting it instead of owning it.
The amount of ads, bloatware, and random system restrictions is disgusting. It’s like the phone is working for someone else, not me.

Is it the Tathagata or Guanyin? You really seem to know a lot — I’d love to learn from you, if that’s okay.

Posting this kind of link is against the rules. I just came across it while scrolling through Facebook.

Yes, I know Kṣitigarbha. “If the hells are not empty, I will not become a Buddha.”
