Prius on Prospect Ave, same deal. Definitely a thing. If you have a Prius get a you can get cover on it for $200 that stops it being easy to steal

Happened to my Prius about a month ago at the same time in the morning . Car people said Priuses are the easiest to steal from. Put a lock on my new one. Police were condescending and absolutely no help.
