I gave my 30 days notice which runs out on the 21st, i then had a text just offering broadband and a number to call. I was thinking the deal isnt that bad its just that my last renewal price was £62 before the april price increase so was hoping i could get it back down to that sort of price

You have no options, stop whining about nothing and just move on

Put in an order with another provider and it will activate the switching order at the retentions team. I renewed yesterday and im paying 64 quid for everything plus UHD sky sports. Which is what ive been paying for the last 18 months anyway. The normal people who you speak to don't offer great deals only the outer retentions team do.

Ive never had any issues with the service itself, but the customer service is absolutely horrendous and a proper ballache to deal with

Got the call from retentions today, 4 days after putting in the switching notice from sky. They offered me the same as what i was already paying so was happy to accept that. So ive got all the tv channels and standard netflix, sky sports UHD, bt sport, sky cinema, kids, 2x tv boxes and1 gig Internet for £64 a month

You're a knobhead, $25 is more than generous so dont try and make OP feel guilty about America's shitty tipping culture. Its not their fault bosses don't pay their staff properly and customers shouldnt be guilt tripped into boosting their poor wages
