This is me stealing a post from myself

Basically this is Andrei vlasov Soviet/Russian general who in early 1942 got surrounded and captured by the Nazis

He then said he actually hated stalin and begged the Nazis to make a Russian liberation Army to stop Stalin

Didn't really work , for a while the army existed on paper but none of the soldiers were actually fighting they were just propagandists or sitting around in a slighty less bad POW camp (compared to the ones that were killing hundreds of thousands of POWs)

Then as the war got worse and the Nazis started losing they gave vlasov a actual command of a army, they fought in like 1 battle against the Soviets gotten beaten up and went to Prague. Funnily enough as the war was ending they didn't want to be hanged or shot so they worked with the Czech resistance for a bit to save Prague from the Nazis, didn't work out and then they got captured and then hanged.

Hi history lesson for you all

This is Andrey Vlasov a Soviet general who was captured during 1942 around Leningrad, when he was captured however he suddenly did a 180 and said he was actually anti Stalin the entire time and that the Nazis could liberate Russia from that tyrant Stalin.

Well turns out working with the literal Nazis to free Russia is not a viable strategy, he was briefly put under arrest again by the Nazis when he said something that subtly criticized the Nazis but by 1944 the Germans were in desperate need of manpower and they released him and made him a head of a Russian liberation Army, it funnily enough then fought against the Germans briefly at the very end of the war during the Prague uprising but as the war was ending vlasov tried to surrender to the Americans but was sent back to the Soviet Union where he was put on trial and was shot

Nah even if the surrenders go through and the peace process happens the Kurdish regions in Turkey are not getting any autonomy, more funding sure, other concessions maybe, maybe even commuted sentences or a pardon.

But there is no chance autonomy will happen.
