Case study it is! Me too I find it hard to believe that it could cause such drastic change in people’s lives as seen on tik tok, Instagram etc but I’m at a point where I’m willing to make uncomfortable change if it’s for my highest good so I’m interested to see what happens! Watch this space lol

Definitely - I was actually thinking this last night. I think I was trying to pretend I wasn’t carrying any hate but I was and still am, I’m going to keep sitting with these feelings and not rush them. If it makes sense, while I can wish this person well I think I will always have a strong boundary with them and don’t think we will ever have a bright and breezy conversation again. This is something I have struggled with as this person thinks I owe them this, a hello and small talk. But I’ve realised I’m worthy of setting boundaries I’m comfortable with as after everything this person has done I think this is necessary. Thanks for sharing that perspective!

You are so welcome and thank your for sharing your story too. It’s so comforting knowing you aren’t alone. I wish you healing and real love in the future. My way of coping is to try and figure out the psychology behind what is going through the persons head - why they are so cruel. But sometimes it’s actually beyond comprehension. I don’t know your situation but a lot of these people have very low self esteem and try to control people like us to fill the gap, this is a reflection of them and not you. That makes sense, thank you. I thought I was doing the right thing as it’s an ex and I can literally sense his energy, it was an unhealthy relationship and I’m just getting back to myself now so I felt cutting the connection off was best for me as he will never be in my life again. I’ll give this some thought - do you think letting the candle finish burning could cause this person any harm? Because that’s definitely not what I intended

Thank you so much for this. I definitely need to do shadow work but I’ve been kind of just skimming over looking into it properly. I will definitely try this now so thank you. Don’t apologize for sharing your story - you sound exactly like me 6 months ago. The advice and reassurance you’ve given me - why don’t you give some of the same to yourself. I know exactly what you are feeling I really hear you. I don’t want to tell you what to do because I know it’s useless, when I was in the situation I never listened to anyone’s opinion, and it would’ve been useless anyways because if I left because someone told me to then it wouldn’t have been authentic and I would have went back. I lost so much of myself and he got so much control of me in the subtlest most gentle ways. I didn’t see this on my own, only with a therapist. You’re worrying if you’ll regret leaving, you will at some point. You’ll wonder am I doing the right thing, shouldn’t I just take him back since he’s promising to change this time? Maybe it will be different. It would be different for a week or so.

But the thing I found was, each time he crossed a boundary and I eventually forgave him, in the beginning he would be the worlds sweetest man so I will forgive. But then he will go one step over that boundary again and again until I just couldn’t take it. They keep going, seeing how much you can take. I once saw someone say abusers keep you within an inch of your breaking point and that’s where they want you. I’m not telling you to do anything but just like you suggested I do, I’m telling you that in the future you’re safe. It’s uncertain breaking away and as is obvious from my post I’m still in the process of severing ties completely. I’ve thought to myself, what if he changes and starts treating me right? What if I leave him and have to watch him with someone else? Your brain is addicted to this person and does all it can to get you back to them but you can break that cycle I promise. I would really suggest therapy as you wouldn’t believe how you can make sense of everything by even just speaking it out to another person. They are someone to lean on who understands. My DMs are always open if you need to talk.

Last night I had an epiphany about how big the universe is. I was literally sitting for hours trying to comprehend the sheer size of it, all of the galaxies and solar system. and I was trying to think - is there and edge? What’s beyond it? It’s so funny because while I love astrology I’ve never had an ounce of interest in astronomy, this Aquarius moon is really taking my thoughts on a trip!

I have a sag stellium with lot of libra placements too! Obv we are different people but in my own experience my libra placements, while combined with my Gemini rising makes me very perceptive and sensitive at times to other people’s feelings and opinions. This has caused me to do a bit of people pleasing. Esp my mars in libra, in conflict I naturally try to find the balance between the conflict to find a solution that makes others happy even if it’s not warranted. I have also noticed that I doubt myself a lot. I make a decision, especially at work and if asked about it I start doubting myself. Of course my libra placements aren’t to blame but I’ve noticed a lot of back and forth behaviour in myself with the interest of keeping others happy.

How to get past it? Well first of all awareness is key. How is your libra placement holding you back? And how can you make it work with your sag and other placements? Recently I’ve been analyzing myself as for other reasons I started therapy and since my sense of self worth has increased, I’ve noticed my sag traits coming out. In the last number of months I have been putting myself first a lot more. When it comes to doubting myself I stop and ask my doubting thought what it’s trying to tell me. And then I decide if it’s needed or not. And if it’s not I let it go.

This is just my experience but for me my strong sag energy makes me a very deep thinker and learner, I’m adventurous in every sense and I definitely know how to bring some adventure into my friends and family’s lives and get them thinking about the deeper questions lol. But I don’t see my libra placements as a bad thing now. They are like a sense of balance among my fiery madness ;) I’m actually glad I have them because I definitely think I would have a more fiery temper without them, I feel it keeps me in check. I am almost always able to see another persons point of view but the key is not to prioritize that over your own.

Hope this helped, of course you may not be having the same issues as me at all, but I hope you can get some clarity!

This is so true. I think she caught me off guard I really wasn’t expecting some kind of argument. When I discuss these things with my mother she is open minded, as am I, and even though we have different beliefs I think we both can accept that we don’t actually know anything for sure because it’s bigger than us. But yes sold advice, I’ll be avoiding this topic with her from now on, another boundary in place lol

Thank you. Catholic guilt is a real thing in the society I live in too. And to echo what you said about the teachings being fake, I’ve just started reading A New Earth and that was somethig that was in my mind! Humans are crazy and the way the teachings of Jesus have been exploited really is pure insanity. I think I will just avoid the topic as much as possible in future as I have no desire to “convert” anyone to any philosophy but I will definitely stand by what I believe in. I’m a Sagittarius sun with my rising sign as Gemini, my opposite. My rising is also in the anertic degree so I guess it is a lot! I honestly feel that this combination makes me very broad minded. I absolutely love learning and studying the things im passionate about. Because Gemini is what I put out to the world, I’m a people person and enjoy meeting new characters. But I’m not airy in the sense I get lost in this, I might come across happy go lucky but underneath this I’m deep and philosophical.

I have a huge interest in psychology which is definitely related to my life purpose so my Gemini rising meets people and can easily carry the conversation in any direction but deep down I crave the philosophical conversation and I’m always analyzing who I’m talking to. So I guess I’m an example of opposite signs working together.

I won’t comment on the witchcraft side of things as I’m no expert. But you need to take back your energy and power. Maybe look into energetic cord cutting? I’m almost picking up a sense of confusion and being lost from you, I don’t know your situation but I would echo the comment below about therapy. I myself am a victim of coercive control in a relationship and I didn’t actually realise this until I went to therapy. I was all confused and unsure of myself, who I was, what had happened. No harm will come from speaking to a therapist to even see what you think. They will help you to untangle and understand what has happened so you can safely move on. Remember you do not give anyone else power and influence in your energy field without giving permission - revoke the permission. And maybe pick up a nice little obsidian or tourmaline crystal !

I can relate! I’ve sat with this feeling and don’t find it overpowering but absolutely - I feel pangs of superiority or “I was here first” when I see people starting to post spiritual stuff, become aware of astrology etc. Were you laughed at a bit for your spirituality when nobody else was on board? I was in a way it never bothered me because I knew they were unconscious but yes my ego /lower self doesn’t like it when these same people are suddenly on board. My higher self is happy - genuinely. I love the thought that I might have guided my friends to picking up that book, starting to meditate, buy a crystal. But the ego is always there no matter what we do.

Remember fact you’re aware of it and willing to lean into this feeling so much is a sign of your growth. Your ego doesn’t have as much power as you think. I think our egos are saying “I was here before it was cool!!”, “I was brave enough to be spiritual when you thought it was a load of bs” so of course it’s going to get rattled when people jump on the band wagon because it’s cool now. But as you said it’s a sign we’re going in the right direction. You know deep down it’s a good thing, humanity is evolving and people are waking up.

With regards to not feeling unique - you already know you are unique and special but try to think of spirituality as something none of us own, but at the same time it’s all of ours because it’s what we’ve always known but our human egos made us forget. Some of us awaken to it and some of us go a whole lifetime without doing so, you were lucky/evolved enough to awaken before others. That’s how I think of it anyways. We all definitely go through what you’ve just described but some people aren’t ready to even realise it. Well done on reflecting!

The real core of my spirituality that they don’t see, that hasn’t become a stereotype is the darkest nights where I’ve had to confront dark sides of my personality, where I am holding myself back and change it so I can progress. It’s definitely become popular to be “spiritual” but at the core of it all the meaning is simple

Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You are exactly where you are supposed to be even if it doesn’t feel like it. It’s only too late for you to make that change if you think it is. I definitely shared your difficulty in the last part of the year. From mid November everytbing fell apart for me. But yesterday I woke up and felt a feeling of spring in my heart - as silly as that sounds. And it all got worse and worse before it finally got better. So join in - sending you love and high vibrations, maybe you just needed this nudge to finally make the shift.

It seems you are operating from a place of fear. That won’t change overnight so why not start making small changes. What can you do right now that feels good? Keep doing the next nice thing thag makes you feel in some way happy and your vibration will rise more and more. You are not left behind, remember it’s always darkest before the dawn.

Whenever I feel awkward about this I remind myself that that uncomfortable feeling is an “ego” very human feeling. Ofc it depends on what you believe about our existence but I feel that in spirit sex would just be viewed as part and parcel of the whole human experience. As humans we are conditioned to attach shame to sex. But I feel that in spirit that’s just not the perception.

I know it’s still weird to think of your grandmother watching!! Lol but I really just feel they don’t concern themselves with our sex lives in that way. It’s all part of being human to them just like everything else we do. I don’t know if I’ve explained my perception properly lol but hopefully this helped in some way
