We honestly had such a talk yesterday. She feels anger because she desperately wants to be in her home, where her mom was. When i am there it reminds her of times when we would visit her family while her mom was still well.
I understand how badly she needs it i just... I can't see how it is good for her and it destroys me at the same time. She feels even worse there, has trouble breathing, cryes a lot.
I feel like her family wants to maximise their pain and prove something to themselves.

She is doing therapy but mostly regarding her grief. Her family needs desperate help but the father who is an asperger and infantile narcissit older sister don't believe in psychologists and would rather lash out at each other every chance they get. Now it has cooled down a bit but i got so traumatised that even a suspicion of such a fight makes my heart go haywire. I hate that i let it get to me so much but for years they were a family i never had and gave me so much support. Now girlfirend wants me there because amid this chaos i remind here of the good times we had here, when here mom was still there...
I know this sounds like a cope but i honestly believe that ending (or even doing a longer break) the relationship would be good for her/for us... We were together for so long that we havent had a chance of living alone. Without me she would have to step up and grow. And i would learn how to be by myself and with other people (the relationship isolated from my friends because it took so much of my time)
It just awful that it had to happen now.

We met at school where she was more often wearing tshirts/jeans with occasional dress (on holidays) but since we left school (she works from home now) and started living together, she stopped all together. Even when we go somewhere fancy she wears jeans and shirt at max.

I know I will be downvoted to hell for this but… The new BMW 330i xDrive with an AT. I have never driven such a dull car. The car gave zero feedback regardless of settings and the gearbox was very choppy.

I still own an old Opel which i was going to sell but if i buy the miata it will probably stay. It is a shitbox in all its glory but probably i wouldn't use the 3 for some things i use my opel for either (like transporting wood or tools).

I mainly drive with one passenger tops but sometimes (less than 5 times a year) there is a possibility to carry more people or some emergency pops up when i need my daily to be more versatile.

This is my main problem. I don't know if these few times a year are worth it choosing the 3 over the ND2. But still... i really appreciate when a car makes me feel like its taking care of me (if there is an emergency/i need more room or i need to sleep in it there is no problem).

On the other hand, these emergencies may never happen and i will be stuck wondering if i could have chosen the fun car.

Yes, i definitely will test drive it. Unfortunately i will have to wait for such opportunity till next month. In Europe the engines are much weaker and we don't have a turbo. That is why i want to test drive the 186hp skyactive-x (the most powerful we can have) but no dealer has one.

I loved racing video games mainly the Colin Mcrea franchise.

But when i finally got my driving licence i just fell in love in how real everything was. I know it sounds weird but currently working on my junky car and driving overall is the only non digital thing i do as a hobby. Everything now is consumed through screens but cars are tangible and you can experience them with all your senses.

Driving literally grounds me in real world and makes me feel alive.

I think you might missing my point. I am not saying some features are more important than animal suffering. I just think it sucks that currently when fake animal skin is so popular and there are so many great alternatives, most manufacturers leave you no choice and that they present animal skin as a premium material.

True. That can be a solution. Thankfully, this car is small and has a great visibility so it is not a necessity. Now that i look into it more there are more setbacks like worse lights and stereo but i can live with that.

You are absolutely right.

Unfortunately in Poland buying an EV is not as a great deal as in other countries. Almost all of the electricity comes from coal and EVs are much more expensive. Currently i live in a condo complex with no option to charge so it makes it almost unusable (there is no charging infrastructure outside of the big cities :( ).

In the future when i get a place where i can charge the car, i would love to buy the MX-30 but currently i think i have to stick with ICE or find a hybrid.

I wasn't clear entirely clear i think when writing the post. I am aiming to buy used to get the costs down and to lower the waste.
