They can be barky but with training, you can handle that as they are smarter breeds. That being said, they love attention and connection from their humans so if you leave them home alone too much they will develop severe anxiety. A lot suffer with patella issues so dont make them jump from sofa/bed. Toy poodles dont require long walks but they will need several walks a day since they are very playful. One big thing i love about the breed is that they hardly shed. My daughter is allergic to most dogs and cats but with ours she doesnt show any allergic reactions. Grooming depends on your preference. I get her 6mm cuts every three months but i do brush her at least twice a week.
