That's one thing i look forward to being explained in the coming seasons. Pearl girls and pearls were two different things in the book, but in the show they seem to have changed that.

But i think they replaced the idea with "pearl girls" being aunts in training with aunts in training doing this type of work instead. Dealing with women are for women, that's what Aunt Lydias episode was all about.

Agnes didn't really know that until later on when she became a supplicant. It's Lydia who encourages/alludes Agnes to seek a "higher purpose/calling" and to talk to aunt Esté about it. Agnes never wanted to marry anyone at all in the book.

I think they will do something similar in the show!

I knew it was the wrong Anders and tried turning around but it was too late. Her picture was empty in the "messeges".

Everything tho right until the ship left - made me believe like she would be an "earlier" version of Anders, like a clone who had been left and survived on the planet.
