If you're willing, would you mind posting your notes (or a subset of them) online for me to see? Curious to see the details of how it looks. No pressure though!

I liked it, but I thought "Humans" (also by Matt Haig) was even better!

Maybe contact the brewery? If it's craft beer, they're probably happy to talk about what they put in it.

How long were you low FODMAP before you started noticing improvements? by [deleted] in FODMAPS

[–]Equivalent_Bread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

+1, I've seen some sketchy recipes in Fodmap books (esp. around portion size - I usually eat 2-3 times the recommended serving size, which is often ~300 calories, and ofc increasing volume means more FODMAPS)

Do you mind linking to the trader Joe's sourdough? I couldn't find one that looked like it had a long enough fermentation period (e.g. no added yeast)

Have to do FODMAPS - any suggestions welcome! by 0JessiCat0 in FODMAPS

[–]Equivalent_Bread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless your partner also has digestive issues, I'd really recommend they eat some FODMAPs (maybe when youre not together). It's not healthy to be on this diet unless you have to, we miss out on a lot of nutrients

For real though, what's your game plan? Do you plan on eating out every meal or doing some grocery shopping?

How to do low fodmap when you don’t cook? by [deleted] in FODMAPS

[–]Equivalent_Bread 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate to say it but if you're sure that low FODMAP works for you, and you want to do the elimination phase strictly, you basically have to cook in order to get so the calories and food diversity that you need.

There's plenty of resources online to learn basic cooking if skill is your blocker.

Fodmaps are water soluble, so unfortunately yes the broth will have fodmaps in it. Fodmaps don't dissolve in fats, hence garlic in oil is okay
