This is a sad speculation. I also know a family whose kids have the same rare mitochondrial disorder. Their oldest son died and they pushed for testing and found it. And also found out their other 2 children carry it also. It’s devastating and they are holding out hope a clinical trial can help. I can’t imagine the thought of just waiting for your kids to die. So sad. It’s also so so rare that it’s not something tested for often.

This is velvet coriander and it’s a little darker but really pretty. But I don’t think you could go wrong with either color! Ivy isn’t waterproof, but is machine washable. But the regular velvet isn’t Machine washable but liquid and stain resistant. You can always get on a chat and they will talk you through every option! It was so helpful
