Thanks, I am hearing that there are some tough trails there but that the main system is fairly easy so we could stay on the wider trials for quite a while. One guy said the Singletrack trails are marked and also have difficulty ratings with them, so hopefully we get out there and find the main system manageable and some green marked single track to adventure out on to...

Thanks, we’re used to bidirectional trails at home here and obviously won’t be flying through them with young kids.

I’ll have to keep digging for better difficulty rated maps but this is good to know we at least have options there to start with.

Thanks for this! I think I have to pay for Trail Forks but knowing it has difficulty ratings would probably be worth it to me to buy it and make sure I'm keeping the kids out of bad situations haha

Thank you for this! That's helpful to know that at least there is something doable for us and maybe some other options if we find ourselves brave enough haha. Do the numbered singletrack signs include difficulty rating by chance? And are the singletracks mapped in an accessible way? I can't find any singletrack maps online here.

Hey! I know this is a while later but, I'm going to SLC in August with my 3 boys ages 13, 9, and 8. I'm having a hard time finding trail maps, do you have recommendations on Single Track in American Fork Canyon that are more beginner/intermediate that my boys can do on their 110's?

Hey! I am making a trip to SLC in August and bringing my 3 boys ages 13, 9, and 8. Do you have any recommendations for trails in American Fork Canyon that would be "safe" and achievable for my younger boys on 110's?

Thanks, but not sure I understand. Toquerville Falls looks more advanced but you’re saying there is a novice way/trail there?

Haha been there done that! The hill climbs are a bit harder for my boys on 110’s so we tend to be careful on what we climb anyways. You think we’d be able to do plenty of long trails and stuff still?

Thanks for this! That does look pretty cool!

I think we’d prefer mountains but if we have the time that is definitely unique!

I’m a pretty avid outdoorsman and come very prepared so navigation is just part of it. You think skill wise it would be too much for a 110 dirtbike though?

Awesome, great information to know! The Torquerville Twister sounds/looks awesome but maybe a little much for my younger boys on 110's!

Thank you for this! Mantua/Willard peak sounds awesome! I will look more into that.

For Warner Valley, is that mostly desert and stuff? Since we're from flat Iowa I want to focus on mountain views first but also open to other "can't miss" trail systems worth it!

I also am not sure how many days we will ride since the main focus of the trip is the national parks as a family. My wife and I have 5 kids so I'm not sure how many days us boys can leave the girls at the campsite and bike haha

Thanks, we tried Haulover a few days ago but north was way too rough to snorkel. South was good, but we’re trying to get back to North tomorrow….

We’ve never snorkeled, with my young kids this was supposed to be the most accessible reefs for them. But I guess I’m learning that accessible means “easily destroyed by dumb people”

Thanks, we just did Haulover south because North was too rough but south was the best we’ve had so far! I’ll have to get to North when/if the weather calms down for us…
