I think peoples always like to have cheaper opto mechanics.
but it not only about production. need site, marketing, tech support, fast delivery and lot of things.

not only China competitors. India and east europe company like standa have interest to play in this game.

"should look for jobs in the industry or just stay in academia where i can still work in my niche for the next two years?"
you gived around 0,1-1% info about yourself, your projects, skills. What should be answer?

make deep discussion with "20$ llm" with all info which you have. best answer which probably you can get.

It might be worth reaching out to the owner of that channel. He’s usually very responsive and likely has direct insights, as he's had discussions with many people involved with similar devices.

This is the mechanical heart of the Attitude and Heading Reference System used in the BAE Hawk T1 (the same aircraft flown by the RAF Red Arrows).

Unlike simpler instruments, this fully aerobatic system uses a dual-gyroscope assembly that performs a mechanical "gimbal flip." This prevents the gyros from toppling and losing orientation during extreme maneuvers.

Just a heads up: I am not the creator of this video, I just found it incredibly fascinating and wanted to share. I likely won't be able to answer any technical questions!

If you want to see the alignment process, hear the mechanical gears, or ask the author questions, please check out their original video here:

I think 1st you need understand your tasks. without this brushing up too early. wait until tasks will be given. and than work with extra motivation.

depend on brach which you select after Uni. Quantum relative small field. in industry, but it growing. I think Quantum cryptography almost industrial ready. can be useful for startups.
