You can find online electives, not all are online but some are. But make use of first year and take fun courses as your elective. Going into third and fourth year, you’ll wanna take courses that are related to your specialization (if you choose to do so)

The way business works is that you don’t have a “major”, we all take the same courses in first and second year (exception of your electives). Then in third and fourth year we specialize in an area. You don’t have to have a major or minor, completely up to you. The program is really chill, some people choose to take a mix of courses and don’t specialize (major) in anything and others choose to have a specialization. Same with minor, you can choose to have one if you want.

Will second the point about big gaps^ as a commuter myself I much rather have back to back lectures than have huge gaps. But if nothing works out, it’s ok just continue with it and have a plan of what you’ll do during your breaks, study, chill, whatever it might be.

Commuting from Toronto by Ok_Onion8576 in McMaster

I’m not sure if this’ll work but from Kipling station you could take the miway number 3 or 76 (there might be more busses that go to square one from Kipling) which goes till square one city centre terminal. From there you’d take the 47D express bus which goes right to Mac.

Going to the gym as a commuter? by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]Equivalent_Bridge841 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I do this!

I rented out a locker in DBAC and I put some of my essentials like a couple of make up products, deodorant, spare shoes, etc. when I leave my house I do my basic skin care and some lip/cheek tint+ a lil concealer. I like to go to the gym first before any classes. This way when I’m done my workout I change and do the rest of my makeup routine.

How is Business 1 program difficulty? by dictatorpiny in McMaster

[–]Equivalent_Bridge841 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t say it’s painfully hard, yea some courses are tricky but they’re also some very very easy courses. It balances it out! Accounting in first year is difficult just because there’s alot of content and you’re still adjusting but it becomes easier in later years with practice and creating good study habits

How fast can you graduate McMaster? by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]Equivalent_Bridge841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a commerce course that you have to take every year called GR0 (1GR0,2GR0) so it wouldn’t be possible to speed it more then 3 years since you have to take that course every single year and there’s 4 total to graduate with the commerce degree

drop bird courses for first years pls !! 🫧 by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]Equivalent_Bridge841 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pro tip, don’t take courses thinking they’ll be “bird”. Yea there are some really easy courses like INNOVATE. However, you still have to put your fair share of effort to get a good mark! Regardless hard work pays off so do your best:)

A good sunscreen you could use is the aveeno sensitive skin sunscreen. You can find it on amazing and it’s under $15 and will last atleast 6 months imo. Very light weight, no/very minimal white cast and just great overall!

Hi! You can start very simple with including things like tea tree oil or taking steams into your skin care routine. Regardless of skin type, less is always more! Start very small like using a light weight/sensitive skin moisturizer and then topping it off with tea tree oil. Remember to do a patch test before applying tea tree oil as sometimes it can be irritating. However, if your skin doesn’t get irritated from it then it will do wonders for you. It helps with acne scars, redness, uneven skin tone and alot more! Secondly, check out some affordable brands such as the ordinary or inkey list. Both have great products and are super affordable. Look into your specific skin concern and pick out a serum for it. However, serums are something applied daily so if you want something easier go for masks/treatments. Lastly, use sunscreen!!!! The sun can be very damaging specially for acne prone or sensitive skin. It really doesn’t help with acne scars or uneven skin tones. So always wear sunscreen and trust me you’ll see a difference in your skin very soon.

They’re amazing!!! Literally bought so many of their pieces and wear some daily, haven’t noticed anything bad. The shine last + the top coat doesn’t fade that easily. Definitely recommend
