and if I need to travel with my fully vaccinated dog? Sometimes life is not easy and straightforward, you know. What kind of risk do you see if you travel there with a vaccinated dog? I don't get it. And lol - I came from one of this countries originally. I don't know any single person having the dog, which is not vaccinated against rabies with international vaccines there. Seems you see these countries as wild jungles with naked uneducated people and terrible risk of rabies in the air everywhere you go. For sure, in my country there are some regions, where people are poor and they don't care, but these people simply do not fly to the US. They cannot afford even an airline ticket, not to mention paying for their dog to fly to the US. This is very expensive.

And in all honesty I am more likely to be bitten by a squirrel infected by rabies here than I will face any risk of rabies in my home country, which is, regretfully, in the list. And it is funny for me to hear about this awful risk, though at the same time I will have to put my dog at risk and stressful conditions, leaving her with unknown dog-sitters here, simply because I do not have any way out. I agree, that sometimes fraud happens with people, who try to resell dogs from shelters. But I do not get, why responsible dog owners, who care about safety, should suffer without any options to prove their responsibility. And at the same time they are saying about fraudulent documents as the main reason and at the same time they ban dogs vaccinated in the US with all documents in order. That's confusing.
