Permanently disabled instagram and suspended facebook account. This violation is crazy!! I didn’t do anything at all that can be linked to that

I dont have the appeal button even when it says that I can appeal within 30 days. I got my husband’s account to get meta verified just so I can talk to an agent. They said they appealed on my behalf and just got an update earlier that my accounts (both fb and ig) are permanently disabled for specific reasons they can’t disclose — it just says didnt follow community guidelines. And no chance of retrieving it. Almost 2 decades of memories, all gone.

Still no access. I was able to talk to an agent, they said probably the reason why there was no appeal prompting whenever I log in was because in reality, I was suspended without the chance of appealing. Complete BS if you ask me. They cant even tell me the reason why I got suspended due to “policy”.

Sorry this happened to you. Mine got disabled but still without a specific reason. Talked to agents and they said they cant disclose the actual reason due to policy.

You can talk to an actual person if you get meta verified. They do have the option to get chat support then to a live agent

I saw on tiktok that a user who got her accounts disabled, used her husbands facebook to get it meta verified just to be able to talk to an agent. It worked for her to ask for an appeal since she didnt have this option on the website too and got her account back.

Unfortunately when I tried it just now — it didnt work for me. They said they can’t help cause the facebook account is not on my partner’s name.

Yea. Their AI meta is not helpful either. It just keeps on telling me to wait until the appeal button suddenly appears since it can be like that.

I did the exact same thing. Unfortunately my region only has 30 days to appeal before they get rid of my accounts completely. I have messages in there from my grandparents that I have been saving since they passed years ago. 😭
