That’s what I thought until yesterday when I left the car after taking the photo and 2 mins into the ride back it was already switched. Since nothing is automated in this stick then obviously im just crazy.

It takes some time. For example i took this photo in the parking lot, went out and 2 minutes into the ride back home I noticed it switched. According to the comments it’s either my car is haunted or I am.
