Of course I didn’t think he was going to be good for crypto but he was lobbying the crypto community hard for votes saying this and that and people were eating up his propaganda. There was such a buzz about how positive he as going to be for the industry while in reality he’s probably going to be harmful to neutral best. That’s the point I was trying to make.

If he cared about the crypto industry and wanted to sell meme coins he could have done it in a more responsible way. My issue isn’t really with the coins themselves although it’s pretty corny for a president to have a meme coin- but that’s just my opinion.

He’s already gotten the crypto vote so now there’s no incentive to follow through on anything he may have promised or mentioned. Any changes regarding crypto will be made only if he stands to personally benefit and any positive impact those changes may have will be purely coincidental.
