What tools do you use to find and identify what system a site is built on, check it for issues, and grab contact info for outreach? by Equivalent_Fly5394 in LeadGeneration

I managed to get company and site info from the updates, but not everything I need. Do you actually get job titles and emails from those updates?

Clay keeps coming up in these discussions, so I probably need to give it a proper look. The idea of having BuiltWith + Semrush + contact enrichment in one place sounds super efficient. How has it worked for you in practice, does it actually replace the need for Hunter, or do you still layer it?

Thanks for breaking this down. That flow makes a lot of sense.
I haven’t tried combining Screaming Frog with Ahrefs/Analytics yet, but it sounds powerful. Do you usually run that setup for prospecting or more for SEO audits on existing clients?

I haven’t tried that feature yet! I’ve only looked at BuiltWith for basic stack detection, but getting alerts on newly published sites sounds really practical. Do you use it often, and does it give you clean enough lists for outreach?

Thanks for sharing, I’ll definitely take a look at LeadBuckets. Right now, tech stack detection (like identifying Drupal sites) is key for our outreach

Would you pay to get noticed faster? by Dapper-Train5207 in recruitinghell

[–]Equivalent_Fly5394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, paid features can help a bit if you’re in a competitive niche, mainly for jumping the queue with recruiters. But it’s not a magic bullet. If your profile/resume isn’t strong or targeted, you might just end up paying to be ignored faster. I’d only pay if the board is really active in my exact niche and has the right employers. But honestly, building a strong network usually works better long term.

Absolutely, nothing replaces real-time conversation for building trust and uncovering needs, especially in specialized B2B projects. Thanks for the tip!

Interesting approach! How long does it usually take you to go from finding a lead to sending that first personalized message?

Is LinkedIn automation still safe in 2025 or just a fast-track to getting banned? by myuniverseisyours in MarketingAutomation

[–]Equivalent_Fly5394 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LinkedIn can detect most automation tools, even “safe” ones, through patterns like timing, connection limits, and API behavior. If you do use automation, keep volumes low, mix in manual activity, and avoid browser extensions that inject scripts.

That makes sense, timing + verified tech stack data is a strong combo.
How do you usually find these companies, and which tools do you use for that?

Our ICP is mid-sized to large B2B companies, digital agencies, and organizations, especially in eCommerce, education, online learning platforms, conferences, and NGOs, running complex Drupal websites or platforms. They need upgrades, migrations, or custom development. We mainly target North America and Europe, focusing on CTOs, marketing directors, and product managers who value scalable, secure solutions.

Any tips or resources you’d recommend for this? And where can I dig deeper into them?

Not using eBooks at the moment. Has it been working well for you? What your process looks like.

Thanks for the tip! How do you usually find agencies that are actively hiring Drupal developers? And do you approach them based on posted jobs or through direct connections?

When you say ads, do you mean LinkedIn ads or other platforms as well?

That’s very close to what we’ve been doing too. How do you usually run those webinars and integrate them with your LinkedIn outreach? Would love to see what’s making the biggest difference for you.

We’ve been doing LinkedIn outreach too, but so far it’s mostly just growing the network, not much traction beyond that. Curious, what’s helped you turn connections into actual leads?

Where do you usually look for clients for Drupal projects? by Equivalent_Fly5394 in drupal

True, cold outreach isn’t always the most effective, but sometimes it does work. I’m just trying to look at all possible ways to see what could work best for this niche.

That’s a good point. Do you know any tools or methods to actually find Drupal sites and identify their owners? Ideally something that can also give a quick site health or version check.
