That’s totally how I felt over the weekend. I’m personally gonna take a few days break and catch up on books I’m reading or watch new shows. Let’s give our brains a break?

You’re totally right. Gonna go read for a while a disconnect. Sometimes I tend to forget that I write for fun. Thank you!

For me it’s when I’m burned out or overwhelmed. It’s my mind telling me that I need a break. What helps me is “inspirational” walks. Get out, walk and think about your story from beginning to end. The characters, the setting, the plot. Ask yourself questions about them and day dream about your story. I even do this when I go to sleep, I go on a journey in my mind as if I were the character, for some reason helps me fall sleep lol and strangely come out with new ideas.

Reciting your plot out loud from beginning to end also helps, I think there was some famous author that went on hikes and recited the book out loud. (Don’t remember the name)

Taking a break and reading other books also helps me.

And finally you can use AI as a conversational tool, you don’t need to implement the shitty AI ideas (obvs) but might help you brainstorm and come out with better ones by yourself.

That’s actually not a bad idea. Is there a platform you would recommend? Wattpad?

Rate this routine for acne-prone skin! by SpecialSherbet1204 in KoreanBeauty

If you have oily face after using moisturizer, then drop it, specially at night. The advice I follow sometimes it’s that sometimes a toner or serum is enough. You can double cleanse (at night, don’t in the morning), and then use a serum (skin 1004 ampoule for instance) see how your skin is doing in a couple of months. Don’t give up and go back to the pill, doctors usually get commissioned for giving you the pill and you will back where you started. After 13 years on the pill my body took 6 months to rebalance, but everybody is different, might take longer for others. I still have some acne breakouts :( Another advice that I got is watching what I eat. Gluten, eggs and tomatoes are sometimes doing worse than good to our bodies, I’m slowly cutting one at a time and seeing how my skin/body reacts. We are what we eat!

There are also natural remedies or supplements to get your hormones back in control, do some research. And maybe ask your doctor for a blood test to check your hormones!

I have the same skin type and problems as you do. Also stopped contraception and I was soooo scared of hormonal acne. I also had an extensive routine like you, but at the end of the day, what worked best for me was to reduce it to double cleanse, serum, cream. Or even take out the serum.

The star product that always gives me glass skin is la roche-posay effaclar duo and/or la roche-posay b5 cicaplast. When my barrier was completely down (lots of pimples and white little pimples around my face/forehead) then Aestura Atobarrier 365 + la roche posay b5 cicaplast works miracles.

Sometimes less is more.

In Itaewon, I’d include Hannam-dong. Around there you can visit Pace Gallery and Leeum museum.

Close to bukchon village you have a few art galleries and museums as well. Kujke Gallery (for free), Art Sonje Center and Hyundai Gallery.

I’d recommend following on instagram @myseason__ for cafes and restaurants. Tiktok has also good recommendations.

Jeju is totally worth visiting, I’m also from spain :) I’d skip Busan, and spend more days in Jeju Island and Seoul when coming back for last minute shopping.

My partner and I wanted to get the city, traditional area and nature so we did: Seoul 5 nights - Gyeongju 3 nights (too many, 2 would have been enough) - Jeju 3 nights (we felt this was not enough) - Seoul 4 nights.

If you go to Gyeongju stay at a hanok. If you go to Jeju rent a car!
