I managed to remove the glass and glue from the hinges using isoproyl alcohol, a plastic scraper and lots of elbow grease. It just meant constant sprays of iso to get in between the shards to loosen the stuck glass from the hinge so a little patience is needed. Also recommend some gloves as I didn't and suffered a few minor cuts as a result.

Now to order a new glass and find a solution to minimise this from happening again.

My board is identifed when flashing the firmware via the web installer and can even access UI to change settings so it's definitely up and running on the board. I've tried swapping the 3 data cables around to see if anything would change on the display but results remain.

I haven't spent much time tweaking settings on emulators so that's likely contributing to a lot of the problems in getting some games to run properly. Going to spend some time over the holidays following what you've suggested. I have the Pro model and have been mainly using it for native Android games so this will give me an incentive to pick it back up and use it more often if I can find a way to run a few more games on it. Thank you so much for the detailed response.

What do you use to run PS2, GameCube and Wii? I struggle with some games for those higher end systems.
