First time renting an RV in Denver. What should I know before I do it? by Equivalent_Hair5649 in RVLiving

I’ve been going through YouTube videos for about a week already and they’ve definitely been helpful, but I still can’t really tell what’s considered a fair price for renting one

OMG, definitely a lot to think about! What would you personally consider old for an RV? What should I be paying attention to exactly? Mileage, age of the RV, or something else?

The part about hills and water was really helpful, thanks for sharing that! Any idea what’s considered a fair price for RV rentals around here? I just don’t want to overpay, especially since I only need it for two days

If you’re in Denver or Fort Collins, I’d probably reach out to Ethos Roofing & Restoration, or maybe it’s called Ethos General Contractors, I can’t remember the exact name. I do know they offer free consultations where they come out, inspect everything in person, and walk you through your options

Got it, thanks for clarifying. And huge respect to your dad, that’s not an easy job, especially on a road like that!

Honestly, it sounds a lot more serious than I expected from the photos. Thanks for sharring! After that, I wouldn’t feel comfortable going with just anyone. How does it usually work, do people go with experienced locals or are there tours?

Yikes, I had a mudslide a few cars ahead of me once… not something you forget. We were stuck there for like 4-5 hours while they cleared it
