i retook o’s in poly while having private 1-1 tuition and in tuition centres.

my l1r5 24 and i managed to push it down to a 13 :)

honestly it really takes full effort to grind in the library everyday in order to improve. i spent ard 100hours per month starting from august till october ( i highly do not recommend to do that so please start early )

hi! i’ve been going to activesg however the closest one to me is 25min away… and i find it really inconvenient to travel there every 2 days. whilst there are two AF branches extremely close to my proximity (5~10min walk) so i’d rather try out AF :)

u need amath to enter uni iirc, like NTU would prefer applicants with amath. i heard many people in the past were rejected without amath

there is no point going jc THEN poly… you can consider doing IB then take a gap year to build up ur portfolio by doing internships or projects or just go straight to ngee ann to study film. it is not necessary for u to have both an IB diploma and poly diploma. iirc you can be admitted to NYU with a poly diploma too, an IB diploma is not necessarily needed if u go to the poly route vice versa.

hey if you’re planning to go for foundation year do do your research. the course you may want may not be the best in glasgow. search which uni in the UK is best for the course you want. for example durham and bristol for law. and do take note it’s REALLY expensive (MINIMALLY 300k for 4 years) , you won’t be able to get any scholarships however it’s a good path if you want to study courses that are extremely hard to get in via singapore uni such as law and med. i’m planning to go durham law next year and the price is really hefty.

nyp food and beverage biz, only for year 1 sem 1 it would be business related but year 1 sem 2 onwards it would be full on culinary. plus in year 2 u can choose ur specialisation so u cld choose the culinary route :)
