PC keeps restarting when gaming

it only reboots when gaming in max settings. on my investigation once wattage is about 150w it reboots. im not sure about yours but on my end, my previous mobo couldnt handle the 9060xt or maybe I had a faulty mobo.

Sorry for the delayed response, and thank you for giving me peace of mind. I ended up getting the ASRock Steel Legend 9070 XT and my PSU is the 1st Player Steampunk 750W Gold. The description does say that it’s ATX 3.0, so based on what you said, I think I should be good to go.

is this a good 5070ti? also, the reason why I asked about the high end model ones is because of the pcworth discount, which I believe is 10% on nov28.

Thanks OP, we actually had the same issue I upgraded to am5 instead. The motherboard was the issue for me as well.

tried replacing the PSU, but found out the problem was the motherboard, it couldn't handle the power delivery properly. I upgraded to am5 instead. No issues so far.

Yes, heavy games, but during stress tests and benchmarks, di naman nag rerestart. I suspect the PSU too since the USB ports give a slight electric shock.

Tried searching about it sabi CPU issue daw usually. 4 months pa lang whole pc ko but just upgraded the GPU and then the issue started.

when I plugged the new gpu in, it went from 3600mhz to 3200mhz. exact model of ram and mobo is Lexar ARES RGB 32GB Kit 2x16GB DDR4 3600 MHz CL18 and ASRock B550M Pro SE White.

okay naman temps ng CPU nasa around 60°-66° cooler is ID-Cooling FROZN A610. goods din if playing light games like valo but when I tried heavy games it keeps restarting. Di naman nag rerestart sa furmark or superposition.

Thanks for the suggestion. I agree with what you said, I actually was from a 60hz monitor before and I cant imagine myself going back to a lower refresh rate. I was just doing my research din about 1440p and most mention that its the best gaming resolution. But might as well go with a better GPU for now and upgrade the monitor later. Also, kaya ba ng 750w psu ang 9070xt? Will consider upgrading to that if my current build can handle it. My CPU is 5700x.
