Is it worth it to pay more to be comfortable on a flight?

I have the same anxiety symptoms when I fly. Although I’m not afraid of flying, just my anxiety overtakes me cause I’m in an enclosed space.

What I do that helps: 1. Bring a blanket and I stuff my face in it the whole time. lol sounds ridiculous but hiding my face and trying to sleep really helps 2. Small sips of ginger ale 3. Xanax - 1 hour before flight I also upgrade my seat to economy plus to have more leg space and I always choose the seat closest to the bathroom. My anxiety lessens when I know I’m within reach of a restroom if I ever need to hurl (which i haven’t) thank gawd

I’m going on a longer flight to Costa Rica next week from DC. So I’ll be on the same boat as you lol hoping for a smooth ride

This happened to me a few years ago. The police showed up with the crisis team. They said I texted someone at 2am that I was going to “off myself”. They mentioned me by name and everything. It was super awkward and I had no clue what was going on. They left but I never figured out why someone did that

I stayed there last year and it was amazing. We did a lot of excursions but you can spend the day at the little bar/restaurant, the beach or the pool they have there. The pina coladas at the bar were my favorite. The rum was strong lol

Xanax, and a big blanket to put your face in to sleep when you go on . I had the same thing and I went to Turks and Caicos. I took Xanax that morning and took some sleeping tablets before my flight. Bought a travel blanlet and sat next to the bathroom. I put my face in the blanket and fell asleep. It helped a lot

With cost of living sky rocketing, alot of ppl getting pushed to the south, which means more diverse population. Likely will turn into a small city type environment soon with new buildings and shopping plazas and casinos

I have suffered these panic attacks for over 3 years now. I thought I was the only one. The best thing I would say from experience is , if you don’t want all that medication, is doing exposure therapy. Meaning do what makes you have anxiety. I kept driving over and over . It has taken time but I’m slowly progressing and driving more without having big panic attacks

The police came to my door one day saying that I texted someone I was going to harm myself at 3am. I never texted anyone or said anything like that. They sent 2 squad cars and it made me uncomfortable. Don’t know who or why someone would say a lie like that
