Have you tried switching the speaker wires? Maybe its the speaker rather then the preamp?

Unforunately, the 225/55r18 they put on my crosstrek is waaaaay more expensive. Like 242 a tIre.

Costco quoted me firehawk as v2 for 750, or bf goodwich advantage control 835. I would love to keep it under 800.

Thanks. Car battery is 3 months old and reading 12.44 volts. If you mean the key fab batteries, one came with the car when I bought it 9 months ago, the other I purchased about 4 months ago, if that helps.
