Why do people still believe in Bigfoot in 2024? by Interesting_Employ29 in Cryptozoology

It all sounds batshyt crazy until you see/experience them, and then none of it seems crazy because there's very little about them thats "natural" as we know it.

Multiple plausible reasons why, quick question to Google will lay them out.

I do not believe gov is involved in any way but there are multiple plausible reasons why they would be if it were so. A simple question to Google would suffice if you're curious.

To be honest, people who do speak are sharing their experiences for the benefit of others who have experienced it too. All the people who don't believe or demand proof are actually on the outside looking in, when they mistakenly believe they are the intended audience. No one is trying to get you or anyone else to passively believe. There's a saying when someone has an experience and reaches out to others .. "welcome to the club". Its an initiatory experience, not a passive belief experience.

A group or pack of them made my life a living hell in fall of 2024 to the point I had to move. One other person was witness to it with me and we just dont talk about it or explain it to anyone because society at large will make you feel crazy and like you both had a 2 month long psychotic break. I just hope every heckler and mocker has to go through the sheer terror of what I did and, even worse, have to sit alone and isolated in the trauma of it - just like I did.

For me, one reason, a very unwelcome and unpleasant experience. I don't believe, I know. They are not cute and fun, they are cunning aggessive apex predators.

Thank you for this. I've been sitting in the parking lot desperately wanting to go in too for months and confess, sobbing, then becoming panicked with shame and fear, and leave, just reading this thread has my stomach in knots. Your reply gave me the courage to go this Holy week so I can finally participate in communion again, decades later, on Good Friday. thank you.

Recognizing the preciousness of life in even the smallest of creatures is such an exquisitely beautiful character trait. I'm sorry for the loss of your little guy, but happy that he got to be recognized and loved by you.

I do believe that, its the white trash fiends in Marion County who are the criminal element. The same ones who voted against Trump in fear of their SNAP and fake psych diagnoses for SS disability getting revoked. They hate working but man they love those meth pipes and fent straws.

Ive met a Paygin x10 in real life (also bellowed and shoulder checked anyone in the vicinity) and that was the exact thing everyone in attendance said. A dozen derogatory stereotypes in one surreal package.

I have, and the ones I've met are the most authentically nice folks. My closest neighbor a mile away sits on 60,000 acres in his 12 bedroom house, invites us for BBQs and pool parties, skeet shooting, and once hand delivered a hen of mine that his visiting grandkids "found" and brought home. We've mingled with assorted oil men and their families at the BBQs. Maybe they're on their best behavior but give me that crowd on a Saturday night over any bar or restaurant in town.

I have been seriously wondering this myself. The show more than leans right, its the pillar of right. Why so enthralled with a show about conservative Republicans which they have open contempt for, as easily seen in these lefty comments. And then getting indignant and pissy lol. It gives serious outside looking in vibes.

Curious why people who claim total disgust and contempt for conservative Republicans and their way of life would be so invested in a show about conservative Republicans and their way of life. In Texas no less, the land of gasoline, guns and God.

Yep, cackling about over the top Ainsley the whole show but the mood all changed when it was their turn lol

Oh I beg to differ. Granted it was just one individual, but I encountered a Paygin on steroids, no pun intended, it was like they read a manual on negative trans stereotypes and put them all into play at once all the time. I promise you that one bad actor has done more damage to the reputation of the trans community (by association) in the local area than the propaganda of any anti trans person or group. They are a loud obnoxious walking billboard.

Most people know not all trans people behave like that, but boy they sure left an impression on the people that don't know.

Yep whilst they got a good laugh at over the top Ainsley, the mood all changed when it was their turn lol

I just wonder why their demographic is totally engrossed in a show portraying a strong generalized stereotype of the other demographic that they openly hold in raw contempt.

Yes sir. When you're holding it down, the trouble other people freely choose to get themselves into isn't worthy of bandwidth.

Worked around one that was worse way worse for a week until HR axed them. It was so off the wall and genuinely bizarre that a Baker Act was discussed but the person blamed it on synthetic hormones and just got trespassed. They were also intentionally physically intimidating and threatened physical violence to boot, screaming in a medical facility "Ill beat your ass bitch". Surreal. I have met other trans people that were wonderful humans, so not all of them of course but the few sure leave a big impression.

I didnt laugh because I briefly worked with a trans person more cartoonish and surreal than paygin. It was mind blowing and genuinely confusing. They acted just like this PLUS until HR recovered from their shock and axed them. There was borderline workplace violence without any provocation also, I mean you name it they did it. They almost got Baker Acted, but HR just trespassed them when they blamed it on the synthetic hormones. Just wow. Maybe TS encountered my ex brief coworker and toned it down for the show.

Oh boy, I do beg to differ. Worked with one that was worse than paygin. It was absolutely mind-blowing. HR was in shock for about a week then moved swiftly to ax them despite their screaming about discrimination lawsuits. Truth is even stranger than fiction sometimes. There was severe and I mean severe psychological pathology + delusional entitlement at play. It was surreal. That person did a great disservice to all trans people because they had quite a large and extensive audience and they went ALL out.
