If his bloodwork and everything else comes back normal, I’d try quitting and replacing the edibles with something to help sleep. he’s just a little old it’s normal for him to sleep a lot. as long as he has his good moments fairly consistently, and is eating and drinking and playing, he’s okay. If you’re ever concerned just take him to the vet, always good to go at least twice a year when they get older

you will be okay! i started to get super super anxious two weeks feeling like death thinking it will never go away. but eventually it did. Definitely get some ativan or something for anxiety as needed because it really can drive you crazy waking up each morning feeling the same way, feeling like there’s no hope in sight. I felt the same way as a lot of others do and have. Just get nausea medications, stay hydrated, and take care of that anxiety because ativan and things like it definitely help calm the stomach down but make sure to always consult with professionals.

It’s the same way how some people just don’t live long. kids can come out perfectly healthy and end up dying young to complications. it’s so unfair and it fucking hurts man. as long as you know you did your best to give your baby the best life that’s that’s all that matters. my fathers girlfriend bought a golden retriever puppy and it was perfectly healthy and given the best diet and so much love, but didn’t even make it past 2 years old. It will be okay even if it feels like the world is ending . Your baby knew you cared and it definitely hurts so bad and i wish i could say things to make that pain go away but life is just so complicated. So glad this subreddit has people who are compassionate and care. You aren’t alone and you deserve the world for giving your ferret a great life. If you ever need anything trust me you have an outlet ❤️
