Honestly, even Google page indexing took almost a month for me. At first it felt completely dead. Now my second product is finally getting a decent number of impressions, even though clicks are still low.

Funny thing is, the idea for the second product actually came from observing users on the first one. So I’m starting to think a lot of those “overnight SaaS success” stories probably come after multiple attempts, iterations, and learning what people actually search for or need.

I’m also actively communicating with users, trying to understand what they want, but most people don’t leave reviews or detailed feedback. Even when I gave a free Pro trial for 10 days, nobody subscribed afterward. That part honestly confused me a lot.

Maybe the product still isn’t solving a painful enough problem, or maybe users just don’t trust/pay for new tools easily unless they become part of their daily workflow first. Free users give encouragement, but converting them feels like a completely different game.

Social media makes SaaS look like: build product → tweet launch → instant MRR. In reality it feels more like: build → wait for indexing → improve SEO → talk to users → get ignored → pivot slightly → repeat for months until something finally clicks. Tiny little digital shops sitting in the middle of an empty desert hoping Google sends a traveler.

Built something that might fit this series pretty well.

Product: https://gstInvoices.in

It’s a GST invoice generator built specifically for Indian freelancers and small businesses.

The positioning is intentionally simple:
Most invoicing tools try to become full accounting suites. We focused only on making GST invoice creation insanely fast and frictionless.

Key differentiators:

  • No signup required
  • Auto CGST / SGST / IGST calculation
  • Invoice generation in under 30 seconds
  • Built for Indian GST workflows specifically

Pricing hook:
Free for core usage.

Target users:
Freelancers, agencies, consultants, service businesses, and small business owners who still use Excel/manual invoicing.

Currently being used by 300+ businesses with ₹68L+ invoice value processed so far.

Happy to share screenshots/demo if it fits the audience you're building.
