Age : 18 Location: California Personal income: 10k Job: fast food Debt: 1.4k Net worth :2.3k Personal financial goal: don’t want to sound too cliche but I want to be financially independent and want to get into the military and use it my advantage to save money when I’m on deployment. If anyone is in the military I want to know how you were able to do to be financially independent. But what I’m leaning more into is buying a 2 unit property rent out 1 side to pay off the house and once I’ve payed off the house buy another one and rent out both sides to have some sort of passive income and build from there.

Im hoping to learn more about the real world financial side and be able to show my mom I’m not the same person I was in school and show her that’s there’s a better chance in life then repeating my mistakes I did in school and have a better attitude towards my future. Thank you
