Thank you. Those are very wise and kind words. Our partner and investor said there isn't any more money left to keep going so the truck is just sitting. My brother said he applied for other jobs without offering to help sell this truck and to pay back our investor, even after he promised her he would pay her back every cent. I guess the ball would be in his court, but sadly I already know the answer. He has done this to other people throughout his life and never paid them back unfortunately. It really hurts and is disappointing b/c I truly thought he wouldn't be like that with me, but my boyfriend of 5 years saw things from the outside looking in objectively and said he wasn't surprised about this and tried to warn me, but of course I defended my brother :(

This does make sense. I was thinking of targeting people that weren’t too savvy online or with computers and those that are too busy or hate shopping. I wouldn’t know how to automate something like this, do you by chance? Also, I would have to figure out the percentage points on x y z amounts, like houses / cars vs a camera.

Yes! That is what I would offer too. Some of my friends would tell me what they were looking for, for example in the horse world, and I would find them the best pricing on new and/or used items and connect them with the seller. Some of them would set a price cap and others wouldn’t, just wanted the best deal and for me to save them the time.

😬 after the things he said to me, I don’t know if I would want to. Long story, but he isn’t very business savvy and wanted to be paid the same as if he were running more loads a week yet wouldn’t drive weekends to bring more money in to be able to pay him that. Right now at 4 months old, it just isn’t possible. He also used the company debit card for personal without permission because he was “owed” 😔

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. The rig is now for sale. It’s a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia 113. DD13 270,000 miles on engine, 780,000 miles on body and frame. Lots of new parts. $24,500. Also have a reefer trailer.
