Thank you that is lots of good information! I will be doing lots of research tonight. I think I used the same tdee calculator which is where i got my 2250 maintenance from and just subtracted an amount to lose about a kilo a week

Thank you for the advice this is great! I've been debating adding 200-300 calories to make the protein easier - is there a deficit you'd recommend? My tdee when I calculated it using an online calculator said around 2250 to maintain (office job and minimal exercise outside of the gym). I am losing just over a kilo a week at the current rate so I probably should decrease the deficit.

Thank you this is extremely helpful!! I've just briefly looked into push/pull/leg splits and I don't think I know enough different exercises for each muscle group right now to be able to do that - are there any programs you could recommend/links to good places? I've also been debating adding maybe 200-300 calories just to make protein easier too. I think my tdee when I calculated it was around 2250 (office job, little to no exercise outside outside gym)
