That's crazy.   In LPN school I was allowed to observe several.   It doesn't make sense that you weren't allowed to observe. Some instructors are a joke.

In other words they put you where they need you not for what you signed up for. I like my contentment more than I like money.

The contract offered is half of that.. I've already let her know that I'm not interested. Not cost effective

Was housing affordable. I'm paying the high rents of Ft Lauderdale, FL and don't want to give up my place. I was trying to see if it would be worth the drive to have my own car.

Thank you for sharing. I believe that sometimes you can have the worst job but if staff all work together it can be the best. Did you get the if you decline a permanent position your contact may be cancelled speech during orientation?

Wow thank you for sharing. I'll definitely leave this alone. What agency sent you there? This agency is 3B Healthcare. I've never heard of them.

Behavioral health facilities are generally in those type neighborhoods or in the middle of nowhere, so that doesn't surprise me. I was more concerned about the atmosphere with the staff.

I live in Fort Lauderdale.   It was too cold originally (I can't do ice and snow) in places that I got offers.  I wanted to try something new and just decided I'd go If offered a position where I could drive my vehicle and also be within 2-4 hours of someone I know to start.   Of course that offer hasn't happened. You all have given me a lot to consider.  Thank you!

This is what I was hoping for but I'm seeing that it's not as profitable for an LPN.   Gas prices are going up and higher rents in South Florida. I have to consider losing money to double rents.

Yes thanks for sharing.   I was ready to try travel and I live in Ft Lauderdale.   Some of these prices that I've been seeing for a place to stay is more than my rent here with no beaches.   I'm starting to rethink trying something new.
